HomeMano's House is a modernly decorated and fully equipped house. The house provides all the comforts to ensure a memorable stay. It is ideal for families, couples travelling together or friends with a maximum capacity of 5 persons.
On the ground floor there is a living room with a sofa bed for one or two persons. In the room there is an open plan kitchen and a dinner table. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the amenities and appliances needed (oven, microwave oven, coffee maker, dishwasher, kettle) to prepare breakfast or lunch. Also there is a small bathroom.
In the first floor there are two bedrooms, the first one has a double bed and a magnificent sea view. The second is equipped with two single beds which can be one queen size bed. .Also there is a bathroom.
The house has a garden with flowers and a yard where you can enjoy your meal. There are two large beaches in Stavros area. There are also super markets, restaurants and cafe. The city of Chania is 15Km far away, the airport is 9 km and the port 8 km.

With its lovely little garden, Mano's House is such an extraordinary house that you do not want to leave the house even though you are in a paradise like Crete. Nicely decorated spotless clean house, a well-equipped kitchen, and an extremely comfortable bed are waiting for you. Moreover, you are only a few minutes away from a fascinating beach. Dimitris and his wife are also an extremely hospitable couple. Thank you both for this wonderful experience.
The house is really lovely, clean and spacious, accommodated a family of 5 comfortably (One had to sleep on a comfy sofa). The Garden is beautiful, full of nice spots to sit in the shade. Dimitris is really nice, came up to meet us after midnight. Helped with everything we needed during our stay. Stavros - the small village, is really nice and calm, and the beach is absolutely beautiful and prefect for kids, as there are no waves at all. The house is about a kilometer from the beach, so a bit of a walk with young kids. Highly recommended!
Excellent house. Comfortable, silent, walking distance from the beach. Well located, extremely safe. The garden is a dream. Butterflies come to visit. Dimitris was always helpful. We stayed at this place for one month and we wanted to stay more. I travelled with my cat and it also enjoyed a lot. There are sweet street cats around and if you stay there please leave water for the animals if you can. The kitchen appliances are great, good beds/sheets/pillows. The indoor shower is very tiny, we used the outdoor shower more. I’m definitely staying at this place again.
We stayed in the middle of May for one week in the house of Dimitris and Maria with our almost two year old daughter. The house is nicely situated and very well equipped - especially for children. The beach - which was a 10 minute walk away - is beautiful and very good for children also. At the beach are nice restaurants and taverns. We had a very nice time there and will probably come back for more. We can highly recommend a stay at Dimitris and Maria's house, who are by the way very welcoming and nice people who will help you with everything if needed.
If you are looking for a welcoming, quiet, clean, cozy and super functional place (dishwasher, washing machine, clean bathrooms, WiFi etc.), don’t look further. This is a great place to rest, explore the small peninsula of Akrotiri (for instance via a hike to Katholiko beach), or to serve as base for day trips to nearby Chania (only 30 min by car) or basically anywhere on the island. The garden is stunning, very well kept and simply refreshing. And Dimitris is simply an excellent host. (From the airport you’ll get there in 15 min by car.)
